Chief Deputy Property Assessor

Bedford County Government is now accepting applications for the position of the Chief Deputy Property Assessor. The Chief Deputy manages and updates personal and commercial property accounts for Bedford County. The Chief Deputy Property Assessor is responsible for assisting the Assessor of Property in all aspects of the office including but not limited to ensuring both personal and commercial properties are accurately represented and on file.

This position requires a skill set that not only requires knowledge of property appraisal, office management, and TN state laws and tax codes, but that of public sector and administrative leadership as this is second-in-command position to the Assessor of Property.
