SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Assists in management of inventory, shipping, receiving, and interplant transfers for the entire plant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead a team of hourly employees to ship finished goods and receive primary packaging materials
- Develop forecasting and communicate demand and load planning with customers, carriers, and staff; work with sales, scheduling and operations to plan full good needs based on demand and forecast data
- Interact with customers directly and other departments to report inventories, production and shipment planning; provide daily and weekly reports per customer requirement
- Supervise and oversee a team of temporary and union employees working on a production repack line
- Perform monthly inventory counts for finished goods and provide gap analysis to variations
- Ensure team adheres to proper receiving processes including accepting CoA paperwork upon delivery and ensuring accuracy and compliance with material specifications
- Verifies materials specifications / SDS’ / Kosher compliance and maintains current work processes that are used for reporting.
- Perform MRP system maintenance activities including closing production orders, creating and scheduling orders, receiving, printing, scanning, etc.
- Strive for the achievement of Individual, Department, and Company goals
- Explore and recommend alternative methods to improve systems
- Adhere to plant policies on Safety and GMPs and maintain safety programs to minimize accidents and injuries and to ensure a safe‑working environment
- Perform other duties and assignments as defined by your manager

REQUIRED

- Experience working with computers and have the ability to navigate and use designated software programs; acute knowledge of spreadsheets and database management is preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required. Three to five years relevant work experience working in a warehousing environment preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed in a typical warehouse/production type environment. Position requires sitting, operating a computer, telephone and other office equipment. Production and Warehouse areas have a temperature of approximately 35 - 90°
F. Noise level in the production environment may require use of hearing protection. Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40lbs.
