Position Overview

, you will drive continuous improvement on the shop floor, reduce waste, and foster a strong culture of operational excellence across our Pittston facility. This role is ideal for a results‑driven leader with strong operational insight who can inspire change through data‑driven decisions and hands‑on engagement. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of Lean strategies that align with plant objectives and corporate standards in a high‑growth manufacturing environment.
  • Lead kaizen events, VSM sessions, Gemba walks, and daily improvement activities to reduce waste and improve process flow.
  • Facilitate structured problem‑solving and challenge teams to address performance gaps with data‑driven actions.
  • Partner with Operations to improve equipment reliability and increase OEE.
  • Collaborate with Quality to strengthen process discipline and reduce defects.
  • Build and sustain core Lean systems including standard work, visual management, 5S, and daily management routines.
  • Provide hands‑on coaching to frontline teams and leaders to build capability, reinforce accountability, and drive behavioral change.
  • Analyze operational data, define meaningful KPIs aligned with business needs, and use digital tools (e.g., Power BI) to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and set clear improvement priorities across Safety, Quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Ensure all Lean initiatives reinforce a safety‑first culture and comply with H&S standards.
  • Standardize and scale processes to support rising production volumes while maintaining performance expectations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement leadership.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing or operations with strong shop‑floor understanding.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive cultural transformation.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Experience with digital tools (e.g., MES, Power BI) is a plus but not required.
