Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Production QC/QA, Production Associate / Production Line
Position Overview
As a Production Technician, you’re a member of a production crew, reporting to a supervisor of an assigned production area. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.
YourKey Responsibilities Include
- Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
- Operate, adjust, and repair high‑speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
- Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
- Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- 1‑year minimum experience in a mechanical job‑related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- 2 years’ work experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
- May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to:
- Hot/Cold working conditions.
- Loud /Noisy environment.
- Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Climbing (stairs and other equipment as necessary).
- Expected Hiring Salary Range: $32,40/h
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
- Onsite Work Environment:
This position is based in Pittston, PA and requires regular in‑person engagement by working on‑site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non‑Ball locations may be required.
