** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading docks, business areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
