Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipe Layers for projects located in the Pittston, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Pipe Layer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Measure, cut, assemble, position, and connect pipes for water mains, sanitary sewers, storm drains, and other underground systems
- Trench digging
- Set grade stakes
- Read plans to ensure proper alignment, depth, and slope
- Use tools such as pipe lasers, levels, tampers, saws, and shovels
- Ensure proper bedding, back filling, joint sealing, and maintaining trench safety while communicating with equipment operators
