Our client, a growing and well-established company in the Placentia area
, is seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their purchasing or supply chain career who is looking to gain hands‑on experience working with vendors, purchase orders, and inventory management.
Assist with the procurement of materials, supplies, and services to support business operations
Create and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to track orders, resolve issues, and confirm shipment timelines
Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning
Maintain and update purchasing records and reports within internal systems
Support the purchasing team with pricing comparisons, vendor research, and cost analysis
Coordinate with internal departments including operations, logistics, and accounting
1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative support within operations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with
purchase orders, vendor communication, or inventory trackingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing software
