• Perform thorough evaluations of equipment through multipoint inspections
• Understand and implement U‑Haul quality standards
• Diagnose and recommend courses of action (parts and labor)
• Allocate necessary parts and labor on work orders for technicians
• Perform basic mechanical repairs as needed
• Continue learning via U‑Haul education to stay up to date with current technology and the new fleet
• Help teammates in additional areas as required, following the directives and guidance of the supervisor

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

Pay Range is: $20.5 semakin $22.5.spark hourly
