Overview

BLISS Car Wash is looking for an Assistant Site Manager. Compensation is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour plus commission, with a $750 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities
  • Manage site staff and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient site.
  • Assist with daily paperwork in the manager’s absence.
  • Train the team on internal and external programs and build customer loyalty through the membership program to provide the best customer experience.
  • Train the team on Monthly Unlimited Wash Memberships and Single Wash Packages.
  • Provide daily direction to staff and ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Maintain strong problem-solving skills and stay in regular communication with the Site Manager.
  • Follow through on on-site open/close processes and ensure the site is fully operational during business hours.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer care and provide positive, proactive leadership with training and feedback.
  • Maintain product knowledge and preparation; keep work areas clean and safe for employees, vendors, and guests.
  • Follow directions and make decisions aligned with job functions.
  • Perform (after-hours) site cleaning of tunnel equipment, tunnel floor, walls, pit, vacuum area, queuing area, etc.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and comply with uniform policies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and internal audits.
  • Enjoy working outdoors and be a team player.
Other Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and create an exceptional first impression.
  • Offer and sell Monthly Unlimited Wash Memberships and Single Wash Packages.
  • Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly and safely onto the conveyor; prep vehicles within company guidelines.
  • Quality Control: verify BLISS cleanliness and wipe down vehicles per guidelines.

  • Adapt to high-volume retail and changing conditions; take initiative when problems arise.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various situations and strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve staff performance through motivation, training, and setting clear expectations.
Leadership Skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, support, and contribute to team goals.
Language Skills
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Communicate operational concerns with management and co-workers.
Reporting Relationships
  • Reports to the Site Manager.
Working and Environmental Conditions
  • Works outdoors with exposure to fumes from vehicles, equipment, and cleaning solvents.
  • Constant fluctuations in temperature and conditions; noise and vibration exposure.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
