As a CNC Swiss Machinist you will play a key role in maintaining production flow and ensuring components meet precise engineering standards. This position suits someone who is detail focused, reliable, and confident working with minimal supervision in a quality driven manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate multi axis CNC Swiss screw machines to manufacture parts to drawing requirements.
- Maintain continuous machine operation by running two to three machines throughout the shift.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify worn or damaged tooling and make minor programme edits and offset adjustments as required.
- Follow dispatch priorities, safety procedures, and routine maintenance schedules to support production goals.
- Proven experience operating CNC Swiss machines within a precision engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognise machining defects and surface finish issues.
- Good manual dexterity with effective hand and eye coordination.
- A self motivated approach with the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
