As an Manufacturing/Operations Engineer (CNC), you will lead production areas including CNC Swiss machining, lathe automation, raw stock, and tool crib operations. Working closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Production teams, you will drive performance, improve earned hours, and support improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Leading daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
- Managing production schedules, labour resources, and changing operational priorities.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, setup reduction, and production flow.
- Supporting root cause investigations and resolving manufacturing, quality, and process issues.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to improve machining processes, tooling, and operational performance.
- BA degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience with in aerospace, precision machining, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, engineering drawings, and dimensional inspection.
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience with Lean, RCCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and production data analysis.
