Field Service Technician
Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Technician where you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our water treatment and regeneration processes. This position offers the opportunity for a temporary-to-permanent role and requires a strong mechanical aptitude. You will be responsible for handling and processing ion exchange resins, operating equipment, and maintaining quality control standards.
Responsibilities- Follow and enforce all safety rules and requirements.
- Perform safe sequence processes to connect and handle tanks.
- Move portable exchange tanks from delivery trucks to designated areas.
- Connect and disconnect tanks to plant equipment to fill and empty them.
- Inspect resin levels in tanks and monitor regeneration equipment.
- Notify supervisor or maintenance personnel of any equipment concerns.
- Monitor and adjust computer-based automatic and semi-automatic regeneration processes.
- Perform routine tests to verify input device accuracy and maintain process performance.
- Conduct quality control tests on tanks and maintain operational reports and logs.
- Coordinate with the Plant Supervisor to manage overall plant operations and production schedules.
- Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the plant.
- Operate and manage the waste neutralization system and water treatment processes.
- Perform other administrative and physically demanding tasks as required.
- Become certified in the safe operation of a pallet jack and forklift.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience in ion exchange resin regeneration.
- Knowledge of water treatment plant operations.
- Proficiency in quality control testing and equipment monitoring.
- Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.

Work EnvironmentThis role requires working in a wet and mechanical environment with a shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The position involves standing for long hours at fill stations and performing physically demanding activities. Appropriate training and certification will be provided for operating necessary equipment safely.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.16 - $27.16/hr.
