In this position, you will offer both technical expertise and hands‑on guidance throughout the machine shop. By partnering with programmers, supervisors, and fellow machinists, you will manage daily operations, ensure production goals are met, and help drive continuous improvement efforts to boost overall efficiency and quality standards.

• Direct daily tasks for machine operators and machinists to ensure production objectives are achieved.
• Configure and run manual and CNC equipment to produce components that strictly adhere to blueprint requirements.
• Work alongside programming staff to assist in the setup, testing, and refinement of both new and current parts.
• Conduct regular equipment maintenance and supervise quality inspections to help maintain a high standard of compliance for the entire team.
• Manage the distribution of work across shifts to ensure a smooth production flow and help the team meet critical delivery deadlines.

• Between five and eight years of experience working in a professional manufacturing machine shop.
• Proven history of leadership or acting in a lead capacity while mentoring other machinists or operators.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and executing technical directives.
• Solid understanding of modern CNC machining techniques and Statistical Process Control to help improve shop floor accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration between quality, tooling, and production departments.
