Job Title: CWP Immunizing Nurse Float - Vaccination Initiative
Location: Placentia, CA
Overview: The Immunizing Nurse will administer a range of vaccines including influenza, MMR, and COVID‑19 while demonstrating empathy and compassion toward patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues in a dynamic community healthcare setting. The role requires adapting to change and motivating support staff by balancing assignments while maintaining professional interactions with healthcare professionals and patients. Knowledge and skills will be applied to drive healthy outcomes and enhance service differentiation.
Responsibilities- Administer vaccines, including flu, MMR, and COVID‑19.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues.
- Adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
- Motivate and inspire support staff by balancing assignments.
- Professionally interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Apply nursing knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and enhance service differentiation.
Candidate must be flexible with work hours:
Sunday–Saturday, 10am‑7pm. Onsite as needed; this is a patient‑facing role.
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state or territory of employment. At least one year of related nursing experience, including immunization.
