Jr. Field Installation Technician

Are you hands-on, mechanically inclined, and interested in technology? rp Visual Solutions is looking for a Jr. Field Installation Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help install and support industry-leading audio/visual systems at customer sites across the United States. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, problem-solving, and learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

• Install and support audio/visual systems and mounting solutions
• Pull, route, and terminate cabling
• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification
• Read and work from technical drawings and installation documentation
• Solve on-site challenges while maintaining quality and functionality
• Travel to customer locations to complete installations and support projects
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

• Construction, mechanical, technical, or installation experience is a plus
• Basic troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn
• Experience with cabling or low-voltage installations preferred
• General understanding of computers and Microsoft Office products
• Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused attitude
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in physically active environments
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time

• CAD software experience (AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.)
• Computer setup and configuration experience
• Audio/visual equipment configuration and commissioning
• Basic networking and IP device knowledge
