Pay Compensation

• CPM Pay:
  
  Starting CPM Pay: 55 CPM with 5.5 cents per mile bonus (up to 60.5 cents)
• Layover Pay: $150 per 24-hour period (when the driver is not the cause of delay)
• Detention Pay: $25 per hour after 2 hours (if on time)
• Driver Assist Unload: $15 per load (very rare)
• Hourly Work (as applicable): $15.50 per hour
• Extra Stops: $25 per stop (beyond one pickup and one delivery)

Bonuses

• Safety Production Bonus:
  Line drivers earn $0.03 per mile for the qualifying month
• Paid the following month if qualifications are met

• Production Bonus:
  Up to $0.025 per mile (2.5¢) based on mileage goals and performance expectations

• Retention Bonus: $2500 retention bonus after 180 days, paid in full

• Orientation Benefits
• Paid Orientation: $150

• Benefits Available After 90 Days:
  Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance

• 401k match up to 6%

Paid Time Off

• Holiday Pay: $125 for holidays worked
• Vacation Pay: 1 week after 1 year; 2 weeks after 3 years; 3 weeks after 5+ years

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location,and other factors as applicable by law. The base rate for this role is 28.98/hour (70% union rate). Rate bumps up to 32.20/hour (100% union rate) after completing/passing 90-day probation. This role will also receive overtime compensation. Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

Main Ingredients of the Job

As a US FOODS Delivery Driver, you will be critical to the US FOODS team and one of the important faces of our organization. Deliver our meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customers. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.

Deliver customers’ orders to meet scheduled delivery times and keep productivity. Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area. Able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds. Make frequent stops during a work shift. Deliver product in inclement weather conditions. Verify delivery of items with customers. Collect money (cash or checks) where needed.
