Current opening is at Placerville Portable. The El Dorado County Office of Education accepts applications for Classroom Assistant I in the Child Development Program on a year‑round basis, with no Final date to receive applications. This posting will be used to create an eligibility list for current and future openings. Classroom Assistant I vacancies are for 4‑ or 5‑hour per day positions.
The Western Slope extends from Pollock Pines to El Dorado Hills.
Purpose Statement: Under direction of a teacher assigned to a Child Development program, assists in carrying out learning, recreation, and personal care activities for children ages 3, 4, or 5 years old, following state, federal, and County Office of Education guidelines. Bilingual/Spanish‑English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Bilingual stipend available upon completion/passing of proficiency exam.
