Job Summary

EDCOE Special Services provides speech and language services for 14 local school districts in El Dorado County, as well as to students enrolled in our county-operated regional programs. Together, our team of 36 full and part-time SLPs team works collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of student with mild to moderate and moderate to severe disabilities throughout our county.

We are actively recruiting for new team members and have a variety of opportunities that range from preschool through young adult. Come and work in one of the most beautiful counties in California! Assignment locations vary and many assignments are located within 10 minutes of the Sacramento County line. Services may include consultation and direct therapy with students having mild to severe language disabilities as well as working with school staff, families and related personnel. Duties may vary according to assignment.

EDCOE Special Services is seeking dedicated Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our collaborative team of 30+ full and parttime SLPs serving students across 14 school local school districts and 27 county regional Special Education programs located in El Dorado County.

SLPs also receive an annual speech budget to further equip them for effective student support.

Signing Bonus and Salary Credit: Newly hired SLPs will receive a $10,000.00 Signing Bonus and year-for-year salary credit will be given for prior years of experience, which may include non-credentialed work experience that requires P-12 Licensure!
