We are hiring in the following geographic regions:
El Dorado Hills to Camino. The El Dorado County Office of Education accepts applications for Instructional Assistant
- Special Services Program, on a year-round basis, with no Final date to receive applications. This posting will be used to create an eligibility list. This list will be used for current and future openings. Purpose Statement:
Under the direction of the classroom teacher, assist in supervising classroom, playground, and community activities of students with disabilities and Juvenile Hall students; present instructional material under the teacher's direction to individual students or small groups; relieve teacher of routine clerical duties.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Successful interaction with children in a classroom or other structured setting, preferably with students with disabilities.
Education:
High school diploma or the equivalent, and two years of college (48 units), or A.A. degree (or higher), or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. All applicants are required to pass testing in order to be placed on an eligibility list.
