Classroom Assistant I

The El Dorado County Office of Education accepts applications for Classroom Assistant I with our Child Development Program on a year round basis, with no Final date to receive applications. This posting will be used to create an eligibility list. This list will be used for current and future openings. Purpose Statement:
Under direction of a teacher assigned to a Child Development program, assists in carrying out learning, recreation, and personal care activities for children ages 3, 4, or 5 years old, following state, federal, and County Office of Education guidelines.

Experience:

Prior successful experience interacting with children and adults.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. Bilingual/Spanish-English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Bilingual stipend available upon completion/passing of proficiency exam.
