We’re looking for a motivated individual with a strong teamwork ethic who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) medical records experience is preferred—but we are happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow.### What You’ll DoIn this essential role, you’ll help maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medical records in compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Organizing, assembling, filing, and maintaining resident charts (electronic and paper)
* Ensuring records are complete, properly signed, indexed, and securely stored
* Assisting with MDS scheduling and supporting compliance with OBRA guidelines
* Managing record requests and tracking authorized releases of information
* Supporting audits, insurance documentation, and regulatory requirements
* Communicating with nursing staff, physicians, and other departments
* Assisting with meeting documentation and committee support as directed
* Maintaining strict confidentiality of protected health information
This role is vital in ensuring our residents receive coordinated, compliant, and high-quality care.### ### What We’re Looking For
* High school diploma or GED required
* Typing speed of 45+ WPM
* Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional communication skills
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move throughout the facility as needed
