The Pines at Placerville is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, ADLs, and independence
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Supervise COTAs, aides, and students
  • Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings
  • Educate residents and caregivers on safety, fall prevention, adaptive equipment, and home programs
  • Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment
  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation
  • Provide staff education and in-services
  • Support quality improvement and restorative nursing programs
Qualifications
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • New Grads encouraged to apply!
  • CPR Certification if required by licensure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Familiarity with Net Health and Point Click Care  is a plus
