Blacksmith Attendant
This position is ideal for an individual interested in working with the public in a park setting. The Blacksmith Attendant must enjoy working with the public and it is helpful to have an interest in Blacksmithing as well as local history. A background in Blacksmithing is also beneficial. Training is provided by the City. Hours may vary throughout the year.
Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor and/or Blacksmith Coordinator, the Blacksmith Attendant is responsible for conducting group tours of the Blacksmith Shop, Blacksmithing, and providing information on the history of Blacksmithing.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Must have some Blacksmithing experience.
Seasonal:
April through October (7 days a week, 9:30 am-4:00 pm)
November through March (Saturdays and Sundays only, 9:30 am-4:00 pm)
