Multi‑Purpose Clerk – Bakery/Deli – 3966 A Missouri Flat Rd., Placerville, CA 95667

The Multi‑Purpose Clerk may be assigned to one of the following departments:
Center Store/Front End, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, Janitorial, Pharmacy.

Responsibilities include:

• Center Store/Front End – Operate the check stand; memorize PLU codes; receive, stock, rotate and merchandise products; perform POS and inventory activities.
• Produce – Receive, inspect and log produce; trim, wash and wrap; stock, rotate and merchandise; maintain floral area; keep all areas and equipment clean.
• Meat/Seafood – Receive, inspect and log; weigh, package and label; stock, rotate and merchandise; provide customer service; take special orders; operate equipment such as slicers and wrappers; keep clean.
• Bakery/Deli – Receive, inspect and log; prepare, weigh, package and label; stock, rotate and merchandise baked goods and deli products; take special orders; operate ovens, proofers, slicers, mixers; keep clean.
• Janitorial – Maintain cleanliness and sanitation: sweep, mop and clean sales floor, back rooms, refrigerated areas, restrooms, break rooms, office areas, shelving, front‑end equipment, shopping carts, vending machines, front of store and parking lot; may operate equipment such as scrubbers and buffers.
• Pharmacy – Operate the register; take prescriptions; handle completed orders; maintain cleanliness; maintain confidentiality.

• All departments:
  Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, refrigerated areas.
• May operate forklift or baler if authorized and certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$17.15 – $26.20 per hour

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible.
• High school diploma or GED; additional job experience acceptable.
• Six months of related retail experience.
• Availability for a variety of required retail hours.
• Must be able to stand frequently and lift up to 40 lb. without assistance.
