- Diagnose and Repair:
Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a range of vehicles, performing repairs with precision and efficiency to meet Thompsons’ standards of quality and integrity. - Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid top-offs, always with a focus on the safety and satisfaction of our customers. - Customer‑Focused Service:
Communicate openly and effectively with Service Advisors to provide accurate repair details and cost estimates, demonstrating a servant’s attitude and ensuring the customer’s needs are prioritized. - Team

- Experience:
Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably within a dealership environment. - Certifications:
ASE Certification or manufacturer‑specific certifications are highly desirable. - Skills:
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, performing mechanical repairs, and completing electronic and safety inspections. - Attention to Detail:
Ability to work with precision, demonstrating integrity in all work to maintain high standards. - Problem‑Solving:

- Environment:
Work is primarily in a service bay environment. - Mobility:
Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. - Hand Dexterity:

Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and vehicle documents.
