Pro Care Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team for the school year. This full-time, onsite opportunity will serve students across multiple school sites and grade levels from preschool through 12th grade.
The position includes a high overall caseload; however, approximately half of the caseload consists of non-public school students who typically require consultation or lower service minutes. The SLP will spend approximately three days per week in a public school setting supporting students in life skills programs and approximately two days per week serving students in non-public settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about supporting students with diverse communication needs while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams across a variety of educational settings.
Responsibilities:- Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services for students in grades P12
- Provide services to students in public school life skills programs
- Support students in non-public school settings through consultation and lower service minutes
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Travel between assigned school sites as required
- Perform all duties expected of a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience working with students with diverse communication and support needs preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school settings
