POSITION SUMMARY:
Processes orders received by telephone or electronically from customer or company employee. This position provides exceptional customer service and is the primary point of contact as it relates to troubleshooting customer issues regarding delivery times, shipments, and billing. The person in this role is responsible for interacting courteously, timely and professionally with those within the department, other internal departments, and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage a heavy call volume while prioritizing day-to-day responsibilities of the job.
- Enters received orders with timeliness and accuracy.
- Updates orders with needed edits with timeliness and accuracy.
- Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed.
- Records and files copy of orders received.
- Prints shipment documents and forwards to the Customer Service Supervisor for review.
- Ensure customer orders are accurate.
- Prepare and organize necessary reports supporting business decisions.
- Recommend potential products and services to customers through data collection and anticipating the needs of the customer.
- Maintain a positive ongoing business relationship with customers.
- Maintains an updated customer name and address database.
- Responsible for sending new pricing, with the correct multiplier, to all customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated experience working in customer service and/or order fulfillment.

- High School diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, and/or shipping and receiving.

Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting to 25 pounds for files and computer printouts on occasion.
- Phone Reimbursement: $60/month
