Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) – Acquired Brain Injury Program

Location: Plainfield, CT areas

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities (Day & Evening Shifts)

Organization: Project Genesis, Inc.

• Support individuals in developing independent living skills such as daily routines, budgeting, cooking, and communication.
• Provide non-medical care, supervision, and socialization based on each client’s personalized service plan.
• Encourage, guide, and celebrate progress — big and small!
• Be a positive, steady presence as your clients build stronger, more fulfilling lives.

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and good driving record.
• Verifiable Experience with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI):
• 2 years with a high school diploma or equivalent, OR
• 1 year with a bachelor’s degree.

• 1st Shift and 2nd Shift available

Starting pay: $18.00/hour
