• Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Develop a plan of care to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
• Work efficiently to provide high levels of satisfaction for staff and patients.

Education:

• Graduate of a school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Experience:

• 1+ year critical care RN experience required.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current unrestricted License in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• BLS required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and CPI certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain administration of moderate sedation within 9 months of hire.
• Certified Emergency Nurse, Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse, or NRP certification preferred.
