  • Salary placement shall be made by the Board or the Board designee and is commensurate with education and experience pursuant to the APT Negotiated Agreement
    • Previous experience credit granted for up to a maximum of eight (8) years of verified relevant experience.
    • Additional stipend in accordance with APT Negotiated Agreement

Description
  • Assist the administrative team in establishing a school climate which encourages good conduct, positive attitudes and values for all students.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents and staff members.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff members, parents, and students.
  • Carry out established discipline expectations and/or guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Assist the administrative team to develop school improvement plans that contain strategies to improve learning and discipline.
  • Analyze and interpret school level data.
  • Responsible for student attendance, conduct, health and safety.
  • Participate in staff development and school improvement activities in order to maintain professional growth.
  • Participate in events outside of the regularly scheduled work day such as orientation, open houses, or conferences.
  • Experience working with a diverse population is preferred but not required.
  • Supervision of after school activities.
Qualifications
  • Valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements registered in Will County/Region 56
  • Certificate of good health signed by a licensed medical provider
