VDC Coordinator

Job Description

You’ll play a key role in turning construction designs into clear, buildable 3D models that help projects run smoothly from coordination through construction.

Translate construction documents into accurate, constructible 3D models

Coordinate models with other trades to identify and resolve conflicts before work reaches the field

Review and audit 3D models from consultants and contractors using Autodesk Revit

Extract and verify quantities directly from 3D models

Maintain and update BIM project documentation

Support engineers and senior leaders by assisting with drawings and plans

Ensure drawings and models are accurate, clear, and easy to interpret

Attend weekly coordination meetings with internal teams and project partners

Collaborate with team members both in‑office and remotely

Build strong working relationships with external clients and project stakeholders

You’ll work on a variety of commercial and institutional projects, including:

Schools and educational facilities

Healthcare buildings

Convention centers

Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) support for smaller mechanical contractors

2+ years of experience in VDC/BIM drawings

Experience drawing mechanical systems (ductwork, piping, plumbing, electrical)

Proficient in Revit & Navisworks MS office suite

Bluebeam

AutoCAD

Any Autodesk certifications

Sisque experience
