Pride Staff is seeking MULTIPLE motivated and reliable Automotive Parts Counter Sales Representative to join a growing distribution team in Plainfield, Illinois. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for both commercial B2B accounts (local repair shops and mechanics). This is a fast paced position blending customer service, technical parts identification, and warehouse logistics processing to ensure accounts receive accurate, and timely order fulfillment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Order Processing: Handle a high volume of inbound inquiries via telephone, email, and walk-in counter interactions, accurately logging and executing orders within the enterprise inventory management database.
Parts Lookup & Technical Identification: Utilize modern digital parts catalogs and specialized lookup systems to accurately identify, locate, and cross-reference correct automotive components based on unique customer vehicle specifications.
Account Management & Service: Maintain standard-setting client relations with commercial accounts; provide rapid updates on pricing structures, parts availability, and order delivery ETAs.
Logistics & Warehouse Operations: Retrieve ordered parts directly from the warehouse layout to fulfill counter pickups, stage parts for prompt distribution by delivery drivers, and assist with processing incoming inventory shipments and cycle counts.
Showroom Standards: Maintain clean, professional workspace standards across the immediate sales counter area, digital catalog lookup terminals, and public-facing retail displays.

Qualifications & Requirements

Professional Experience: Prior experience in automotive parts sales, industrial retail service, warehouse processing, or an equivalent fast-paced customer-facing role is highly preferred.
Technical Aptitude: Solid computer literacy with a verified ability to learn internal inventory software architectures and navigate multi-manufacturer parts catalogs quickly.
Communication Skills: Refined, professional verbal and written communication mechanics tailored for high-volume phone environments and direct face-to-face interactions.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or remain mobile throughout extended shifts, with the physical capacity to comfortably lift, carry, and maneuver components weighing up to 50 lbs.
Core Competencies: Deep attention to detail, strong self-organization, and a proven ability to process data efficiently under strict timeline constraints.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.50 - $21.00 Per Hour
