Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 per hour (rate determined by expertise and experience).

Under the direction of the supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance the delivery of patient care. Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and record results, perform routine diagnostic tests, and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications and injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations. MA supports a very busy orthopedic office with multiple providers and additional clinical staff.

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED
• Certified, Registered, or Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) with current certification through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health Career Association (NHA), or any other certifying agency, and at least 6 months of clinical experience - PREFERRED
• Candidates without certification should have at least one year of clinical experience - PREFERRED
• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association - REQUIRED
