Plainfield Counseling Center, LLC is an established and growing private practice committed to providing high-quality, ethical, and client-centered mental health services. We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. We are currently seeking a qualified Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our professional team.

Position Overview

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for providing psychotherapy services while maintaining clinical excellence, ethical standards, and professional documentation. This position offers flexibility, administrative support, and a collegial work environment that values clinician well-being and professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to assigned clients
  • Conduct clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external referral sources as appropriate
  • Adhere to all applicable ethical, legal, and professional standards
  • Participate in consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Illinois license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, ethical, and client-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and/or families
  • Clinical specialties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or mood disorders
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required
Compensation
  • $45–$70 per hour, based on licensure, experience, and caseload
  • Consistent referrals provided
