Job Purpose: Position reports to the Co-Pack/Retail Fulfillment Manager. Manage staff assigned to shift, including employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Responsibilities include supervising all computer entry work and all paperwork flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assign work for warehouse staffing, aligning with customer specifications. Monitor the quality and accuracy of shipments according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure department staff meets customer requirements and that any changes are updated; train staff on changes.
  • Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries; implement required actions.
  • Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors in accordance with OSHA and RJW policies.
  • Oversee completion of all computer data entry, checking for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assign duties and review work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and approve shift timesheets for weekly payroll, including temp hours, making corrections as needed.
  • Monitor overtime to meet department requirements.
  • Conduct daily building checks and notify the Co-Pack manager of equipment or building issues; assist with preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines; ensure AIB training for handling any food products.
  • Complete checklists for building, equipment, and safety as designated by SOP or policy.
  • Issue corrective actions or work orders to correct issues.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed for accident reporting and care of any injured employee; notify HR and management of emergencies.
  • Perform assigned tasks or other duties as instructed by the Co-Pack manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in co-pack.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.

Language

Skills:

Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and speak English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
