Outbound Supervisor 2nd Shift - W19

Note:

This position is not remote and RJW will not be providing relocation assistance.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually.

Available shifts:

• D Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM (hours may vary based on business needs)
• E Shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM (hours may vary based on business needs)

Position reports to the Warehouse Manager. Supervise warehouse operations during the second shift, communicate transition information from night to day shift, manage shift staff including performance reviews and disciplinary actions, oversee computer entry work and paperwork flow.

• Assign work for all 2nd‑shift staff while meeting customer specifications and delivery schedules.
• Oversee inbound/outbound freight loading per customer specifications.
• Supervise local, regional, and OTR drivers; communicate updates and workflow changes.
• Review deliveries for poor packing and material condition; alert Customer Service, Warehouse Manager, and COO of issues.
• Assign processing of shipment paperwork, including scanning of BOLs.
• Ensure all shipments are recorded and verified for accuracy against paperwork.
• Monitor quality and accuracy of shipments per customer specifications.
• Update customer requirements and train staff on changes.
• Maintain and update the Tee Card board and TMW system.
• Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries, implementing required actions.
• Send email prior to shift end to ensure smooth transition of workflow, issues, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors per OSHA and RJW policies.
• Oversee completion of all computer data entry, checking for accuracy and efficiency.
• Approve shift employee timesheets for payroll; monitor overtime hours.
• Complete daily building checks; notify Warehouse Director of equipment or maintenance issues.
• Ensure employees adhere to AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines for handling food products.
• Ensure checklists for building, equipment, and safety are completed per SOP or policy; issue corrective actions or work orders as needed.
• Handle accident reporting, care of injured employees, and notify HR and management of emergency actions.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by Warehouse Manager or COO.

• Minimum 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Dispatch experience.
• Dock supervision experience.
• Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software is a plus.
• Experience in warehouse management and LTL dispatch.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
