Overview
Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Hours:
Evening 3:00pm–3:00am with every third weekend and rotating holidays
Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Uses critical thinking to assess patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Works as a team member to achieve unit goals. Duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (Preferred).
- 1+ years experience in the Emergency Department (Required).
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (Required).
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
Licensure and
Certifications:
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date
- Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date
Provides professional nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Performs assessments, identifies changes in patient condition, plans and evaluates care, and documents observations. Delegates appropriately and collaborates with the health care team to meet unit goals.
