Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Registered Nurse – Pediatric Emergency Department – Night

• Position: RN - Emergency Department
• Location:
  
  Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
• Full‑Time: 36 hours/week
• Hours:
  
  Evening 1pm‑1:30am, rotating weekends/holidays

• Education:
  
  Associate Degree in Nursing or higher; if Associate Degree is highest, must graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start.
• Experience:
  
  1+ years in the emergency department unit required; pediatric experience preferred.
• License & Certification:
  Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure; CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross);
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within three months;
  Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months.

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Employs critical‑thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patient progress, and records observations. Delegates appropriate patient‑care tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
