Assistant Residential Director / Registered Nursing Trainer (RNT)
COMPASSIONATE LIVING HOME, INC. is recruiting for a Full‑time leadership position to assist in managing multiple Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Locations:
Naperville, Oak Brook, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, and surrounding areas.

Compensation- $46.00 – $52.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
- $100 weekly on‑call stipend

- Serve as Assistant Residential Director for assigned CILA programs.
- Conduct Illinois DHS Rule 116 medication administration training and competency evaluations.
- Provide nursing oversight and support to multiple residential homes.
- Monitor medication administration systems, physician orders, treatments, and health‑related services.
- Conduct nursing assessments and health reviews.
- Assist with surveys, audits, investigations, corrective action plans, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Support Residential Supervisors, QIDPs, DSPs, and management staff through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and person‑centered planning.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with Illinois DHS, IDPH, Rule 115, Rule 116, and agency requirements.
- Participate in rotating on‑call responsibilities.
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- DHS Registered Nursing Trainer (RNT) certification preferred.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Experience with in CILA, ICF/DD, waiver, residential, or developmental disability services preferred.
- Knowledge of Illinois DHS regulations and medication administration requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Experience participating in DHS surveys and compliance reviews.
- Experience overseeing multiple residential programs.
- Knowledge of incident management, health care plans, behavior supports, and quality assurance processes.
