Registered Nurse-Emergency Department-Evening

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 – the rate is based on expertise and experience.

  Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Evening Shift)

  Plainfield, IL
• Hours:
  
  36 hours/week (3:00 pm – 3:30 am, every third weekend and rotating holidays)

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or associate degree with pending bachelor’s within 5 years)
• License:
  Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Certifications:
  • CPR (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • ACLS within 3 months of start date
  • PALS within 3 months
  • Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 3 months

Provide nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Employ critical thinking, assess patients’ conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations. Delegate tasks appropriately and function as a team member to meet unit goals. Duties may vary by unit or shift.
