Role Overview:
Provides specialized nursing care in a Level III NICU, focusing on family-centered practices in a 35-bed unit with single-room setup.
Responsibilities- Deliver neonatal care to critically ill infants, including resuscitation and stabilization.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Occasionally float to Peds/PICU, SCN, and Mother Baby units as needed.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing;
Bachelor's Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree. - Minimum of 1 year experience in a Level III/IV NICU setting.
- Current Illinois RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certification (within six months).
- Strong neonatal assessment, resuscitation, and family support skills.
- Ability to work night shifts, rotate holidays, and adapt to floating responsibilities.
