Veterinary Technician - Overnight Emergency

Are you an experienced ER Veterinary Technician looking for an exciting overnight role in emergency and critical care? Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is seeking skilled and passionate technicians to join our state-of-the-art emergency department in Plainfield, IL. Our 20-doctor, full-service General Practice and Emergency hospital provides exceptional care to pets throughout the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Due to our hospital’s rapid growth, we need dedicated overnight ER technicians to help us continue delivering top-tier emergency care.

• Brand New, Cutting-Edge Facility – Opened in 2023, featuring 20 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, an ICU with oxygen cages, and double dental suites.
• Exciting & Varied Case Load – We perform ER surgical services, including C-sections, foreign body removals, GDV surgeries, laceration repairs, and more.
• Incredible DVM Team – Work alongside veterinarians with 25-30 years of experience who are passionate about mentoring and teaching.

• Flexible Overnight Scheduling – Offering full-time opportunities 8pm-8am. Employees are required to work mandatory holiday shifts per year.
• Competitive Pay & Shift Differentials – $21-$30/hour based on experience.
• Overnight ER Veterinary Technician – Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience in emergency medicine and are comfortable with triage, ICU patient care, and surgery.

• Phlebotomy & Catheter Placement
• Knowledge of Radiology Safety & Proper Technique
• Anesthesia Monitoring Proficiency
• Perioperative Surgical Nursing Skills
• Experience Operating Fluid Pumps & Maintaining IV Sets
• Triage & Emergency Medicine Skills, Including CPR Proficiency
