Account Manager

Position Summary

• Account Manager, US Petcare Division; field-based role maximizing sales performance in assigned geography using solution selling, territory management, and business planning.
• Travel required; some evening work for educational programs.
• Candidate should live within the territory.

• Sales Performance:
  Meet sales quota overall and for key growth products via demand generation.
• Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads.
• Solution Selling:
  Consistently demonstrate solution selling.
• Build technical knowledge and veterinary practice expertise; maintain and grow relevance and access with targeted hospitals/personnel.
• Follow Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Territory Management/Teamwork:
  Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation; implement resources and maximize ROI.
• Meet field activity expectations (sales call activity and medical education investment).
• Develop and execute an account/veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations.
• Work with Petcare colleagues while meeting expectations for integrity/compliance, conduct/attire, communication, administrative responsibilities, and teamwork.

• BS/BA undergraduate degree required.
• 3–10 years of documented successful consultative sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience using analytics/insights for decision-making and execution.
• Animal Health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.

• Verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Good judgment; thoughtful/fair decision-making.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems.

• Ability/willingness to travel and work some evenings.
