Learn more:  As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, greet drivers and team members, and support incident reporting with clear communication.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and report suspicious activity, access issues, and/or policy violations to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with traffic flow for trucks and coordinating with on-site personnel during urgent events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, docks, yard, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unsecured doors or gates.

• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
