Audio Visual Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audio Visual Technician located in Plainfield, IL. The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for the wiring infrastructure in new construction and existing homes. This includes working inside and outside year round depending on the job. Technicians are required to have most of their own tools to drill and run wiring inside of walls.

This also includes the setup, installation, and maintenance of audio, video, and lighting systems. Daily responsibilities include loading vans with necessary supplies and equipment, working with other technicians and van leaders to complete the day’s work. Eventually you can move up to an installation manager which would include configuring audio/visual equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless integration of lighting and AV technologies.

• Willingness to learn and work in 'new construction' and 'existing' homes and buildings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to support client interactions and collaborations with team members.
• Electrical or technical certifications in AV systems are a plus.
• Familiarity with home automation technologies and custom electronics is advantageous.
