Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Shipping & Receiving Technician in Plainfield, Illinois— offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.
Pay
: $21.50 per hour;
Additional Pay
: $0.50 per hour when assigned to shift below;
Schedule
:
Thursday – Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

State of the Art Equipment in a Safety-Oriented Warehouse Environment with Computer and Paperwork handling.

Note:

Some positions may require additional screening as part of customer requirements (employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or background checks).

• Check truck drivers in and out
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity in accordance with warehouse direction and vendor assignment
• Verify the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation
• Partner with the inventory department to resolve discrepancies
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
• Update required reports on a timely basis
• Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs
• Depending on location, operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
• Other duties as required or assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office
• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
