Material Handling Forklift Operator, 1st shift

Hours:

Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Available to work overtime before and after the shift and on Saturdays if needed.

• Use of powered industrial equipment – Stand Up Reach Lift, Dock Stocker, Walkie Rider, Order Picker
• Unload / load trucks, break down shipments, pack shipments, operate equipment to move and store loads into various rack and floor positions
• Use a portable RF scanner to complete tasks in the system
• Use a computer to move product in an automated storage and retrieval system
• Assist other departments (Picking and Shipping) when needed
• Maintain appropriate productivity, quality and attendance

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35‑46°F) for up to 10 hours per day when required
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

• Basic math, reading, and computer operation skills
• Ability to receive, understand and respond accurately to questions and direction from supervisors or managers
• Ability to operate multiple frequency devices, voice pick equipment, handheld scanners, and other power equipment as directed

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with powered industrial equipment – Stand Up Reach Lift, Dock Stocker, Walkie Rider, Order Picker

Base pay range: $37,020 – $50,897.

Factors which may affect starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
