Inventory Clerk

Inventory Clerk – Plainfield, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Plainfield, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy when picking orders and maintaining inventory. All warehouse and production team members will rely on the accuracy of inventory data.

• Starting at $17/hour

• Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
• Maintain and update inventory records.
• Develop and implement efficient inventory procedures.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies, report stock issues, and place product orders.
• Pick inventory, pick tickets, and perform cycle counts.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Assist production, receiving, and shipping departments as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Detail-oriented and reliable work ethic with high attention to detail.
• Computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP software.
• Forklift certified (a plus).
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete required employment eligibility verification upon hire (federal law).
• High School graduate/GED.
• Proven experience maintaining safety procedures and documentation (a plus).
• Prolonged periods of standing in the warehouse.
• Can lift 50 pounds rarely, 25 pounds occasionally, and 15 pounds regularly.
• Able to reach above shoulders regularly.
• Able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and crouch occasionally.
