Position: Administrative Specialist I

Overview

Our Client, an Electric Power and Gas Distribution Operations company, is looking for an Administrative Specialist I for their Plainfield, IN/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities
  • Specific duties are purchase requisition creation, CAPS processing, ordering office supplies, creating facilities tickets, maintaining various logs such as RFQ tracking and change order logs.
  • This person also organizes PM meetings, assists in safety meetings and supports managers and directors with PowerPoint and Vizio documents.
  • Additionally, this person supports other groups as needed such as Work Management, Siting Permitting & Engagement.
  • At this level, the worker has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
  • This level works within established procedures with a moderate degree of oversight and serves in a non-exempt capacity.
  • Uses business software applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
  • Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail.
  • Maintains files and calendars.
  • Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses.
Requirements
