Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Department: Operations
Reports To: General Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Shift/
Schedule:
2nd Shift – 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday
Pay Rate: $18.00 + $1.50 shift differential
Purpose of Position: Accurately process incoming and outgoing orders within designated systems while providing customer service as part of daily warehousing operations.

- Notify manager if trailers are not being unloaded and loaded within designated times.
- Enter and complete all inbound and outbound orders and extra billing by end of shift.
- Review open receipts and orders daily, communicating issues to manager.
- Assign trailers to dock doors to ensure efficient flow.
- Follow SOPs and customer work instructions.
- Follow dock safety policy.
- Follow safety, security, and visitor policies.
- Follow inbound and outbound trailer security SOPs.
- Ensure all system entries are accurate.
- Ensure outbound orders have Bill of Lading or blue outbound form.
- Complete dock trailer check as directed to verify trailers and update door log.
- Verify lift operator paperwork and transfer handwritten notes to original Bill of Lading.
- Demonstrate initiative and knowledge of multiple accounts/job functions.
- Interface directly with customers, maintaining professional and courteous relationships.
- Respond to customer requests within an hour with estimated completion time.
- Escalate customer complaints to management if requests cannot be met or errors reported.
- Coordinate, problem-solve, communicate workflow with customers, coworkers, and carriers.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, WMS, document scanning, copying.
- Proficient and accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift/squat/reach above shoulder level.
- Adhere to company expectations of reliability, punctuality, accurate work, and attendance.
- Maintain a “Whatever it Takes” attitude and open-minded attitude toward task variety.
- Participate in pre-shift and department meetings, maintain cleanliness of work area.
- Show initiative, seek additional work, and promote teamwork.
- Maintain professional appearance according to dress code.
- Report unsafe conduct or conditions immediately.
$18.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential.
